Guess I'll start here...I just picked up a 2000 ZX3 with a 5 speed. The P.O. has butchered the car up pretty badly. They tried changing the clutch, and things went downhill from there for them. Ended up having the car towed to the house, and I've ordered lots of replacement drivetrain parts (axles, ball joints, motor mounts, etc). Now I just have to get it get it apart, and put it back together again. Once it's back to driver status, I'll worry about the look of it (it's in primer now for some reason).

Hello again. I was on this forum two years ago and had a brief hiatus while I had a Dodge Charger. The gas MPGs were getting to me so on Wednesday I bought a race red 2012 SE sedan with sport, winter, & sunroof. I love it. I liked my 2010 but this is definately better. Glad to be back!

Hello all, just picked up a 12 Titanium edition. I see you guys are a wealth of information on the car. Looks like a great site!

Boy it seems from reading a few threads the 2012 has quite a few teething problems. I bought the "new" mustang in 05 and had it lemon lawed within a year I should know better than buy new model years.

Anyways, I am new to the car so I can only offer one tidbit of info...I had the car tinted with LLUMAR window film. The 2012 Focus 5-door was the first one he had the "pleasure" - *sic* of installing the film. He said it was the most difficult overall he had to do. Obly the Corvette has it beat on the rear window. The doors were a challenge due to the plastic that overhangs inside the window area. The spoiler on the rear makes it difficult to size up-Used alot of heat shrinking. The front windshield was not a major issue but the way the rear view mirror, etc is mounted he had to use two pieces. It still looks seemless. Since I was the guinea pig on this one I got lucky and spent only 200.00. He said the next guy will have to fork over 40.00 more due to the extra time it took. BTW, although I did not use the special film for nav/sirius I got lucky and everything still works!

Salutations, fellow carbon-based organics. Just picked up a used 2008 FF SES as my point A to B car. I honestly like it, but the engine feels a tad underpowered and after six months, shifting upwards of the 3rd gear is becoming a chore. Anyway, I'm here to find out what I can do about it.

Very excited to join everyone here - Found this site a full month after purchasing my 2012 black, Titanium hatchback, which is odd because I thought I scoured the web thoroughly when I was researching what car to buy. Yet here is this website that seems to have more information than every other website I've seen before. So thanks!
