Hi, I'm Joseph. Glad to be on here. I found your site through google. Looking forward to interacting with you all and contributing. I just purchased my car earlier this month. It's a '12 Red Metallic Focus SEL. It's my first domestic vehicle, my last car was a Honda Civic. Having issues with the MFT like some of us here (with the occasional freezing and volume problems), hope that can be fixed. I've just reached 1000 on the odometer yesterday. So far I'm pretty impressed with the build and performance of this car. :)

Newbie here

Hi all! I just ordered my 2012 Ingot Silver Metallic Titanium Sedan yesterday and hopefully it should arrive mid August. Ordered with Titanium Premium Package, Titanium Handling Package, Parking Technology Package, Winter Package, Power Moon Roof, Interior Style Package - Tuscany Red & hood deflector. I purchased for $400 over dealer invoice.

The Ford dealer only had one on the lot which was an SE sedan. I was very impressed with the quality, ride, available options and it is very pleasing to the eye. Dealer checked the state to see if any available from other dealers and struck out. I searched the internet prior to purchasing and I did not find that many 2012 Focus models out there. Ford doing mostly "build to order"?

Now the wait......

My Titanium one was worth the wait. I think it was 6 weeks from order to delivery.

Hello All.

Just a quick intro, I currently drive a 2011 Mustang GT 5.0. But today I ordered a '12 Focus HB Titanium, 401A package with MFT/NAV, Moon roof and the Titanium handling package in Candy Blue. I wanted Kona Blue but they are no longer offering that color.
I have always had high horse power cars so I am sure this will be a major change for me but I drive well over 500 miles a week for my job and the 22MPG on the 5.0 just isn't cutting it. To add to my fuel dependency I also have Ford 150 and my wife has a Dodge Challenger SRT8...we don't even look at the MPG there...we just keep going to the gas station.

Anyways I am getting a good price for a 2012 P3N (under invoice...the regional manager is my neighbor) and all the reviews and info I read on the Focus makes it look a fun little car. I test drove a SE sedan and TIT Sedan and while I am sure I won't be heading to the drag strip with the Focus anytime soon I think I will like passing by a few gas stations! (actually I probably will take the Focus to the strip just for the novelty of it!)

We drag both the Stang and the SRT8 and we have even had the Challenger on the Nurburg Ring when we lived in Europe. As fast as the Stang is out of the box I still can't beat my wife in her Challenger...but I done some work to the 6.1 Hemi.

So did you order your Focus or pick it off the lot? I am working with my dealer and he is still trying to find me MY Perfect Focus but can't seem to locate a Kona Blue TIT HB with the options I want, so he ordered one in Candy Blue (isn't gonna charge me for the 344 for the paint!) Bummer part is it could take two months for delivery but he says if I don't like the color no worries...he can sell to someone else.

I have no trouble on the twisties against the Challengers or almost any car. I have the Trak Pak set up. Cool about the Nurburg Ring. I have been on many tracks in the north east .. but would love one shot at the Nurburg Ring.

To get a Foucs with every thing in it, you have to order it. It took six weeks for me, but it was worth it.
