Started driving what used to be the wifes 02 ZTS, been a member here for a long long time just never posted as my dad had the car for a while. so hello all, just looking around to see what I can fiddle with on the car!
Been looking around the site for a sticky or something with some common cheap proven mods, found a few but no list. Not trying to make it a race car, just as things fail if I can fix and improve all the better!

New to the Focus World
Just picked up an '06 ZXW 5-speed about a month ago. I already love it! I'm pretty much a Ford guy (currently own a '04 Freestar and an '83 Mustang GT convertible, as well as previously owning a Bronco and 2 other Mustangs), so a Focus was an easy, natural choice. I wanted a 3-door hatchback but the wagon is awesome. Very fun to drive, gets great mileage, and I'm really bonding with it.
Anyway, I also do a lot of DIY car work so I figure I'll be around here quite a bit. Thanks for having me. |

Hey guys, I recently made the decision to upgrade my daily driver ('09 Accord EX-L V6) once the lease is up and purchase the Focus Titanium. I have been reading up a ton on the car since the end of last year, and am looking forward to taking one out for a test drive this summer.
I do all of the modding on my BMW (summer vehicle), and plan to do the same with the Focus. I used to do car shows with the bimmer for several years when I first got it back in '02. If you are interested in any pics of my car you can find them here: Pics of my ride This site has been really informative and helpful. I find that the true enthusiasts are typically on these forums.
