Hey guys. Not currently a Focus owner, probably just going to lurk. Unless it's regarding the new 2012 Focus. Since the new year began I've already set aside 500 dollars towards a down payment on a new car, which I'll need badly in the next couple months. Currently terrorizing the streets of Southeast MI in one of the most exotic pieces of automitive art this side of a Bugatti Veyron or Ferrari Daytona Spyder...

...yep, the ever elusive 1998 Ford Taurus SHO. 4 cams, 32 valves, faulty camshaft sprockets. Yes, it has the horsepower of a V6 with the fuel economy of a V8 (hey, times were a little messed in the mid 90's). I'm surprised this car has managed to make it into 2011, but it is certainly on it is last leg and I'm anxiously awaiting owning something made in the 21st century. If I'm lucky it will even come with amazing technology like heated seats or sattelite radio. Perhaps even a 3.5mm audio jack for plugging in my mp3 player so I don't have to rip out a perfectly good trunk mounted CD changer and buy some ridiculously priced adapter just so I can run a length of cable up to the passenger compartment for an aux-in.

Now, where's the sedan v. 5-door thread so I can start tormenting myself?

Hi I drive (sometimes- stupid Ontario graduated liscensing) a 2009 silver SES Coupe (but I am taking it over and treating it like my own) and I joined up to see what people are doing with there Foci. So far I like it, these cars have alot of potential too bad there aren't more like mine out there.

we have owned our focus for nearly 9 years,have not been on here much because the car has been a real peach for us.
we are 2nd owners of this 2000 model with zetec engine and leather seats,bought it in 2003...we have nearly 130,000 miles on it.
i just changed the plugs for the first time about a month ago they were origonal plugs...i have always used motocraft synthetic like the manual says every oil change. this car never uses oil and it always looks clean .we have never owned a better car.I am currently looking for a newer focus for my wife,because this is her daily driver and will soon be mine.when it becomes my daily driver im gonna mod it out madly as i can and still keep it legal....

hey guys quick question, i have a 2003 ford focus with a blaupunkt radio and i want to put an aftermarket radio in it. what harness do i need because none of them look like they would fit??

welcome to the site, best buy should have a aftermarket wire harness just tell them what year you have
