Got the Taylor Thunder Volts and new AZFS22C plugs on today. Easier start up and much better idle. Think I may have gapped them a little too big though. I've never gapped plugs beore so I think they are a little over .060Checked the gapping on my stock platinums and they were set at .080. I made good power before but I thought that ,080 was way too big.

Is there a better tool for measuring plug gap than those round things at VatoZone?

Yes, I use "feeler gauges"

They are Uber accurate when compareed to Vato Zone gappers.

LOL I accidentally bought a set of feeler gauges used for valve clearance... WAY too small.

You usually have to combine a couple of sizes to get the right size (when doing larger clearences), but it doesnt throw off its accuracy.

massivespeedway has some good plugs on ebay, you buy the 9mm spark plug wires for like 45 bucks and for 16 or 12 bucks he'll throw in 4 coppercore motorcraft plugs and it comes out to 72 with shipping

Has anyone seen or heard anything about those Pulstar Pulse Plugs? Here is a link to their site: http://www.pulstarplug.com/howtheywork.html

I was wondering if anyone has used them and what they think about them. I don't see how they wouldn't work well with a stock coil and a good set of aftermarket wires.

A guy on here was talking about these... about how great they would be and all that kind of shit... funny thing is after he "supposedly" got them ... there was never anything else posted about them.

I for one plan on sticking with parts that we KNOW work.

Ok thanks. I'm going to do a little more research and see what turns up about them. For $100 shipped for those "pulse" plugs, I don't know if they will be worth it on top of better aftermarket wires.
