You've never changed plugs??

its simple go get your tool box, take the spark plug cover off (black thing that says "Powered by SVT"

Then just change out the plugs one at a time.

alexdc, you may want to get a haynes manual or help from someone that has changed plugs before.

I have seen a couple of people ask about the E-3 diamond spark plugs, And a friend of mine bought a set for his focus with the duratec and he said they work wonderful. He doesn't have any major mods or anything just an upgrade on the a ECU that's it and he said he has seen a increase in milage

Spend what you want (Bosch or E-3 Diamond) on plugs, but you won't get a better spark than what the Motorcraft copper core plugs put out.

The other two will more than likely last longer, but that's the only benefit you'll see.

By the way, Bosch have been proven time and time again to not work very well on these cars.
I know a few people on these forums have tried them and it's been the same (bad) result every time.

Check out the following posts (Live wires don't do so good...).
Well, much better than stock, but not so good when compared to some other aftermarket wires.

Here's one:

And, FF member CaysE did some great testing for us:

^^^Be sure to read his follow on posts with more testing of different wires.
