Is this a good deal?

http://focus.c-f-m.com/index.asp?Pag...ROD&ProdID=891

99K miles on a 2002 SVT Focus (I bought it brand new and been running the snot out of it for the last six years); been running rough recently and gas mileage has gone way down. The dealership diagnosed it as a bad coil pack and old wires/plugs and wanted $560 to fix/replace. I have little time, but I think I can spend an afternoon doing this.

Great information on this thread.

Thats a good deal.

You can also get a stock replacement coil from AutoZone for around $45 and it takes about 10 minutes to change it.

Personally I use a stock coil and FordRacing wires on my Turbo SVT Focus, but I run MSD on my Cobra..... either will do just fine.

Holy smoke, now that's service! I ordered the coil pack, wires, and plugs at 2:12 and I got a message from UPS that they have the package.......at 2:58! Based on this, I'm expecting them to deliver it yesterday!

Now, if I can find some parts for the V6 Stang there....

dude - thanks for the recommendation for .06 gap on the stock platinums. i just did it this weekend. went from .05 ( i also changed out to FS wires and cleaned the MAFS) and it seriously runs like a different car. im not sure what did the most difference, but i am very happy with the results.

Id like to see proof over stock coil and MSD. Are we talking N/A or HIGHLY modified turbod
Has ANYONE even tested the stock coil up to 700 HP? There arent many even making 350WHP.

1turbofocus ran the stock coil and FRPP wires on his 725whp white car and pretty much all of us at 300+ are still running the same setup as him.

I wouldnt spend the money on them..... not when the copper MotorCrafts (AZFS22C F4 stock number 463) are less than $2 a plug.
