ok ive got my copper core and taylor wires in for the most part b/c wat to do with two remaining wires. i know one should probly go to the distributor, but am thoroghly confused about the other. Both wires have one end which would fit the coil boot, and then an some other type of boot. help lol

OK, but what could be causing the poor mileage, about 15-17 miles per gallon? the car is driven stop and go about 50 miles a day and poor mileage sucks with gas prices the way they are.

There should only be 4 wires for the Focus.

As for poor milage, stop and go is the worst thing for mileage... how does it do on the highway? Also when was the last time you changed the fuel filter??

the car never goes on the highway, the fuel filter has about 400 miles on it, just cleaned the maf with a spray maf specific cleaner, the drivetrain got 240-260miles on a tank before I swaped it into the wagon in place of the sohc turd!!!

MSD Pug Wires
I just picked up a 2003 SVT Orange with the Euro Pkg. Car is all stock except for a XCAL2 Focus Sport Tune which the previous owner included with the car. It was set for the sport mode program by the last owner. I put a new set of MSD 8.5 Super Conductor Wires #32949 on the car and started it up. It started missing- running rough right away. Would the the sport tune be affected by the new wires? I put the Original Factory Wires back on and the car ran perfectly. Any answers? Defective wires? Thanks

Take the wires off and reinstall them... more than likely you didnt get one on all the way... this is a common problem.

and no the tune wouldnt be effected by the new wires.
