Borla or Magnaflow?
Ok so I'm in need of some fellow fanatic's opinions. We're shopping for exhaust for out svtf. Can't decide between the Borla and the Magnaflow. Either way its gonna be the same price. And we're going with 2.5" piping. I've seen a couple videos on youtube of both, just wanted to see what everyone else thought of them. Thanks!

I've had both brands on my zx2, and I like the way magnaflow mufflers sound. The borla was a few decibels louder, and it sounded raspy arround 2200rpm on my car.

My car came with a Borla mufler. I think it sounds raspy and ricey :(

ive got a 2.5 borla with a magnaflow resonator for sale if your interested. only on the car for literally a year. its stainless as well!

its all a matter of who you are talking to i have a borla and i love it I have heard a couple magnaflows and I myself like my borla better

Magnaflow is 2.25" piping.
Borla is 2.5" piping.

Magnaflow is quiet at cruising speed and wakes up at WOT.
Borla tends to drone at cruising speed and screams at WOT.

I have had both and currently have a custom 2.5" piping with a 14" Magnaflow resonator and Magnaflow Muffler paired up with a HFC and it sounds great. Zero drone, and screams at WOT.

It all depends on what you are looking for.

magnaflow for the win! I have one on mine. Its nice and low toned. Doesn't sound ricey and it's not too loud at all while cruising. my 2 cents. later.

trubenz is the cheap place to go i have borla no res stock cat and mine does not drone at all on the highway! 2.5 pipe
