expect anything in the range of 9.5 and 10.5. its all in the launch so practice practice practice!

youll probably get around a 10.5 for your first time out.

its all in the launch. if you can get around a 2.2 60' on street tires your first time out your doin pretty good.

a friend of mine has an rsx type s and was pushing 215whp when he went to the track and ran a best of 10.0 averaging mid 10s with a slow run of 11 cuz he sucked at launching. next time he went he got a little better and ran a 9.5 best, averaging high 9s.

when you go, prestage (first set of double yellows) and wait for the other person to do so, then stage (second set). if you stage before the other person prestages, some places get mad. its just good etiquette to wait. dont do a burnout on street tires, for most tires it doesnt help. just drive around the water pit. with the power your pushing you shouldnt have to lower your tire pressures either.

itd probably be best to launch at around 3-4k rpms your first time so you can see how your car responds at the track. dont just drop the clutch bc that will just cause a bunch of wheelspin. dont let it out like a grandma either. let it go kind of quick, but smooth, and keep the rpms up. you want as little wheelspin as possible without bogging down. once your goin about 10-15mph with the clutch completely out, you can punch it in 1st gear and it shouldnt spin. then just shift up close to redline and as fast as possible. in the 8th youll probably barely get into 3rd gear in your svt.
