CFM Turbo Focus Goes 12.40 at 114mph

CFM went to Orlando SpeedWorld Dragway Friday night. The car did 12.40 at 114mph,which was the first run with the new tune. Here is a video clip of CFM Turbo focus 1/4 mile run. CFM expects the car will go quicker with more practice with the new setup.

The 1/4 mile run was with slicks. The rest of the car information can be found by this link.

Can you compare this car to your another 12.4s, but supercharged Focus? That one has a way lower HP/TQ rating....

I am sure the CFM vortech focus weighs less since it had the back seats removed and front race seats.

The CFM Turbo Focus has the back seats in place, regular stock front seats, trunk with some stuff in it, and a nitrous bottle. The CFM Turbo Focus weighs more.

We are sure with more practice we will see a better 1/4 mile time with a better 60 foot and a better 1st to 2nd shift.

Congrats on your first pass out. Would you mind posting the timeslip or listing more details about the pass? Also, what gears and tires are you running?

That was sick, what a badass focus. I'm a little out of the loop, is this a shop car, customer car or the car of someone who works there?

I thought the nitrous was on during this pass, but I found out it was not. I was wondering why I did not see the nitrous purge

. The car should be able to do high 11's with nitrous if it has enough traction .
