Dim Dash Lights

The dash board lights on my wifes 2005 ZX5 Focus are very dim.

The dash light dimmer switch does not brighten or dim the lights.

Any suggestions?

Sounds to me like the dimmer switch needs to be replaced. You could remove the switch and check it with a VOM, seeing if moving the dimmer wheel changes the resistance.

How does one remove the switch, from behind the dash?
