Good 1/4 Time??
ok so i went to atco raceway last Friday night and ran my car for the first time all i have done to it performance whys is drop in K&N filter resonator delete and exhaust my best time of the night was a 16.5 but i wasn't sure what time i should have been expecting. i know i can get a little better then that but i was wondering what i should be getting. o yea i drive 02 zx3 with the 1st gen MT.

These really dont add much power, if any on a zetec. Your time sounds about right for a Zetec/ manual. What was your 60ft time? we can tell a lot by that, ill bet youll get faster if you practice launching it

yep, not to shabby for stock and right about where you usually see them. but as buickboy said, some practice on reaction time and launch you may be able to shave a little more off

thanks for the replies it helps me know where i am at. any other tips for the drag. and i was kinda wondering are there any cheap mods i can do to help to bring my time down (focus on a budget)(pun)

hey not bad time
as someone already said give us yout 60 feet times cheap mods? well modding is not really cheap bro......if you can't afford don't even start but you can exhange whatever rims your have now for stock 15" focus rims, Under drive pulley kit, i really sugest saving for race header, and bigger flex pipe

Find a used SVT intake system, you can get those really cheap and they perform at par with cold air intakes. Sticky tires will help, and lower your pressure in front so you don't spin them.
