Free dyno testing E-RAM..... calling california peeps!!!

Hey guys wassup. I have been in contact with E-RAM www.electricsupercharger.com for a while now. I have been trying to get some more info on their product and see if they had any recent dyno or testing. They told me they were actually about to aquire a focus from a local hertz dealer for testing, but they were all Automatics. I just received an e-mail from him asking for assistance in finding someone interested in doing some testing of their product. Here is the e-mail.......

Hello Mike,

Just a quick update as I finish up with some late night e-mail communications...

Been looking for a rent-a-car Focus to dyno, and can't seem to find any 5sp. They're all automatics out there.

We can either go ahead and do the dyno with an automatic, or look to you to help us find a Focus owner in the Silicon Valley (Northern California / San Jose, CA.) that will be game to bring his/her car to the dyno for free dyno runs at our expense.

Can you let us know if anyone in the Focus Forum may be interested in helping us put our product to the test on the Focus? We believe the Ford Focus market is a key segment for us, and we want to make sure that your members know that we are serious about proving our product with real results.

Worst case will be that someone will get a free day at the dyno to see what HP numbers they are actually putting to the pavement.

Regardless of the results, no purchase of the e-RAM will be expected, implied, or pushed. We don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable during the process.... just want to get results as we gear up for our presence in retail performance shops this summer.

Just let us know, and thanks for your help.

Regards,

Mike Kibort

Well there it is, free dyno time with no strings attached. They did not specify wether they wanted a stock vehicle or not. I am interested in both stock and modified cars being dynoe'd. I know most people are skeptical, so here is a chace for them to prove that their products works. I say we give them a shot beings there willing to put up the time and effort to show some real numbers. Anyone in the surrounding california area go ahead and mail him and see if you can set somehting up soon, im anxious to see the results. Also I think its apparent they want to dyno a 5 sp.
Sorry auto's

Did anyone step up to the challange ?

If not, maybe they can give an incentive like a free E-ram for the person who offers their car for this test.

I mean, FS gave a guy a free SCT chip($300 value) just to bring in his car with a specific ECU code that they haven't tested.

But they can't find a 5-speed, only autotragics for rental.
Plus, this would help get the word out if a Focus owner has one installed on their car.
They have to look at the big picture, not the $300 cost of the E-ram.

I took this challenge and my zetec is highly modded and the we dynoed no gain. They are looking for a bone stock 5 speed in the san jose area to test on to see if it makes a difference.
