Coolant Vanished
So i popped my hood open and noticed that my coolant vanished. Well after putting some more in and driving home from work i looked under the car at home and saw that there was coolant leaking around the tranny part, almost at the same spot where the tranny drain plug is. Ow and yes all of the coolant was gone after a 30min drive home. Will look closely tomorrow but any ideas. I has no idea that there were coolant lines around the tranny.
P.S. I boosted my turbo to 1.5 bar (22lbs) and saw some smoke coming out of the exhaust. but nothing after. The race was 3 days ago. NEED HELP P.S.S I checked my thermo. housing, no leaks from there. |

Check around the t-stat housing right after filling the cooling system up again. Leave the overflow cap off and look around. If there is coolant running out around the housing, or from behind it near the head, you probably need a new housing. Ford has them for about 55 bucks.

HOw are the cooling hoses? sometimes the hoses can develop pinholes. If you see any white crusty stuff on a hose, that hose may have a pinhole.

I thought i blew something pushing all of that boost in the eng but it doesn't look like its burning, and my turbo is only oil cooled at the moment.

You may have blown your head gasket. Are you using ARP fasteners? I wouldnt trust Ford head studs on 22psi.
