Sometimes you can grow into and out of them. I use to have moderate asthma and moderate to severe allergies. An allergen test I toke as a kid had me itching to everything but salt water; and I could barely do normal things like cutting the grass.

Now that I'm older I don't have asthma and my allergies are mild at best. A friend of mine was one of those impervious to everything kids growing up, but now has shellfish and nut allergies along with some mild asthma.

Yeah, I had no allergies as a kid, and I have developed a seafood allergy in my late 30's....and its sad because I love seafood .

Being in Hawaii, there are flowers and such constantly blooming. There are these trees right out in front of our apartment that have these red buds on them that as soon as they started blooming, Aaron & I both started sneezing, coughing, all of that allergy crap, started up. When the winds bring in the VOG from the Big Island, it's pretty bad too.
