Any more details on the accident? We couldn't see anything when we finally got through.

^^ At least you had good tires on this time... We have had nothing but wet roads here. The grass was icy last night, but the roads have been fine. We went to get a Christmas tree today and the place was DEAD. They said they were swamped yesterday before " the storm"... Not one customer showed while we were there. I went over in their barn with the kids and showed them the Elk that they raise. That was fun at least. The sun had just come through the clouds and the elk were soaking wet. They had steam rising off their bodies. The kids had never seen that before. It was a nice day out.

ariggle, that's crazy. When we drove around there was a fire truck and some cop cars sitting there backed by the hill but there was no signs of anything in the road so we were confused. If you have anymore details let us know.

Bill, we were in the Si not the Focus even though the Focus would have made it just fine too. We went to the Mexican restaurant that we like over there (the one we took you to before) and we were in there about an hour. When we came back out it was putting it down and the car was covered. Now the wind is blowing like crazy and the power has already went out twice and now flickering a couple times.

Yeah, blowing pretty hard here at times, too. Keep the heat on, I wish you a safe night.

We went for a BEATIFUL drive today, on some of my back roads above Gettyburg. We had the tree strapped to the roof ( lovin' the wagon ), and there was ice everywhere. The trees were all covered and silver, but the sun was coming out. It only lasted an hour, but we drove all the little back roads watching the ice fall off the trees. LOTS of downed trees , too, but it was beautiful scenery. I forgot to take my camera.

We've got electric heat so if it goes out then we've always got the gas stove

The ice was still on the trees up on the mountains so when we were going to town this afternoon you could see all the icy trees up there, fog around them and the sun was trying to peek through. I didn't have my camera with me either cause it was really pretty.

^^ Yes, same thing with the trees. Really pretty, and I knew a little backroad that snaked up through all that.

Gas stove ! GOOD. I know you have electric heat and was worried what you all did with no electric for a day or two. At least you have a back up. Cool. I do that at the lake, put a big griddle on the stove, turn the burners on low and make heat. It"ll keep ya from freezin. Stay warm. the wind is nasty here right now.
