Those looks like the OEM HID's to me that were cracked open & painted to match the car.

What should I search for on ebay then? Are those the "machs" I always hear about?

I've also been eying the Hella Dynabeams, but they're really pricey.

Yup, they are Machs. Try looking in the BST area of this forum & craigslist too-they seem to pop up every once & a blue moon.
