Just disable Javascript and the hack doesn't do anything. Most of the JS functions on FJ aren't enabled anyway.

I never exploited them but could have easily. I know they won't mess with my site though. The site auto traceplots anyone viewing the site, member or not. Just by viewing the site, I know your IP address, your mac address, the entire routing that was used to reach my site giving me a close proximity as to where you live down to the very router used on your home network, everything is logged. Mess with my site and I will F you up.
Don't most webserver hosting applications do this anyway? I'm pretty sure I was able to in cPanel, but it's been a while since strictlyfocused was online.

Yes they do, I just have it setup to make it aware to the viewer. If someone tries to access my site database, you get a popup message and that lists every little bit of information about your connection with a warning that if you mess with something you are not supposed to, it may be the last time you do so. I haven't had an issue with hackers. I have the database broken up into 2 sections. The main section contains all the files that run the site such as site images, user rep, posts, threads, etc... the other section is stored on an entirely different server which a friend of mine maintains.

Between him and myself, we locked that server down tighter than Guantanamo. Access requires 2 12 digit passwords that each require 2 lowercase, 2 uppercase, 2 numbers, and 2 special characters. Also, no 2 of the above can be next to one another, it has to be mixed. These passwords change every 72 hours. Upon confirming the passwords, you have less than 2 minutes to complete a play-fair cypher encrypted message setup by yours truly. The information contained within the hard drives of that server are heavily encrypted and the key to the encryption auto-changes every 12 hours. This server contains all personal information such as member email addresses, account information, and other site information that could be useful to a hacker. Cybersecurity is both of our profession.

A play-fair cypher! That's pretty sweet... LOL!

Are you using TPM for the hard drive encryption? I've always wondered if it was worth it to use on a home PC with Bit-Locker.

Yep! lol The play-fair is an inside joke too so outside my immediate friends, it makes no sense at all. lol

We have a TPM in the motherboard but don't use it since we both travel pretty frequently and don't want to chance someone getting on of our laptops and then getting access becasue the TPM recognizes the device and lets them in. We use an original version of Truecrypt that we've modified with our Linux OS. We did our own customization for the key changes.
