I'd really like to find a way to safely and securely mount the racing harness' I have from the Focus into the Fiesta for Auto X days. Seeing as how the harness bar can't be swapped over, I'm thinking of using the rear seat-back mounting points to bolt the harness anchors to. I've pulled up the rear seat bottom and looked over everything - it seems to be a secure enough spot and easy enough to get to, but I'm curious about the strength of the floor pan.

I mean, the seat belts themselves in the rear are mounting to those points, but I saw something recently about proper angles for mounting harness straps and mounting to the rear seat belt anchors would definitely be past the recommended angles for the belts.

Any ideas from the racing folks?

Hilarious game!

Text this to random friends and see their response.

You: I have a question.
Them: ......
You: Since we're both so good looking, why haven't we banged yet?
Them: .....
You: Coming over now
Them: .....

^ No matter what they respond with in between, keep to those lines. Beyond that just keep it going and play along. lol I did this to a friend's ex-gf.

Me: I have a question.
Her: Ok?
Me: Since we're both so good looking, why haven't we banged yet?
Her: What??? Aren't you married??? What are you talking about?
Me: Coming over now.
Her: Well ok, you're in the state?
Me: Be there in a few.
Her: Oh wow, you got a condom? What about your wife?
Me: She's with me.
Her: Well alright then. ;)

I then called her and told her it was all BS and I just wanted to see her reaction. I then got chewed out for several minutes about how much of an A-hole I am. It was hilarious though and I even showed it to my friend and he rofl'd. lol Good times. Jenny (my wife for those who didn't know) was watching over my shoulder and laughing the whole time.

Don't bother just for autox. And you want the mounting point at shoulder level and mounted to a body strength point.

Ok, so wait for someone to come up with a harness bar for the Fiesta

And just Auto X for the moment, but definitely more later.

Anyway you could use the Latch system for your harness? Two of the bracket should be inline with the driver's seat.
