I worked 59 hours last week between the two jobs. Monday this week, I handed in my notice at the pharmacy. Oct 8th and I'm done there. The worthless wages I'm making there aren't worth the stress and long evening (and weekend) hours.

if it was my full time job, or my chosen career, I'd deal with it. But it's neither. Normally, they have me on from 6-close 2 or 3 days a week; which was ok. I still had a life and time to see my wife before she went to bed. But due to staff issues (namely one employee who deems herself god's gift to the world) I worked every night last week AND sunday. Add to that the fact that things have been nuttier than stand-up night at the squirrel bar (for reasons we can't yet figure out.... everything is just going to shit) and I just said screw it. $8.50 an hour for a part time job isn't worth never seeing my wife.

its not too bad driving in dover except for right before the start of the race and then for like 4 hours after the race is over on sunday. the big issue is going through parking lots stupid rednecks that cant read one way signs while riding on golf carts but focus vs golf cart focus wins every time and i make them back up. it kinda funny watching a drunk try to reverse a golfcart

I've only ever been NEAR one NASCAR race on a race weekend.... Made the mistake of trying to drive up I-81 towards Scranton on a weekend that turned out to be a race at Pocono Speedway. Longest ride of my life.
