i pretty much did. and after i was dont, the shoes were too big for the drums so ill be spending tomorrow working on it too. and then the SVT is getting the carbon bits mounted up.

That is the way to remove on a small car.
In order to replace shoes on a deuce the fast way is to
jack up axle side. Put pallet jack or dually lift under set of dual or single tires. Remove axle shaft, and remove axle nut, jam nut and lock ring.
Remove duals, hub, and drum.
Service brakes. open adjustment/inspection cover on drum,
Clean bearings and race and repack bearings in air packer.
Re install and torque.
With a helper I can do a whole truck in about 2.5 hours
