Thanks!
i just checked the part numbers. they are different. in 2007, the part number is :
FO4S4Z-5A969-AC KNUCKLE AND HUB ASY 1 NS 127.08 127.08

in 2008:

FO8S4Z-5A969-A KNUCKLE AND HUB ASY 1 NS 147.96 147.96

I would think they are different part numbers, but my experience with Ford, different part numbers do not mean different parts. I was hoping to have a parts person actually look into the parts a little further. The only difference I know between the two parts is the hole diameter of the bolt holes that attaches the spindle. The 07 would be smaller than the 08. I am more interested in the rest of the part.

I will give you a few examples of different part numbers for the same part (of course this goes back a while);
The rear quarter panels of the 67 and 68 Cougar is the same thing, the 68 is a different part number because there are pre-drilled holes for the rear corner reflectors.
The same years and compared to the 67 and 68 Mustang, the rocker panels are identical and different part numbers.
Also, the tail lights for the 69 and 70 Shelby Mustang, they were 67 Cougar tail light assemblies without the tail light grilles for the Cougar (which is a different part number) the two tail lights are the same, but different part numbers.

Now my next question, is there anyway you can ask them to do a little research to see if the mount locations for everything other than the spindle is the same between the two.

I am trying to do a rear disc conversion an my 08 and I am trying to do it with the least about of effort.

If they will not do the research, looks like I will have to buy one and do the measurements myself.

Just asking, sorry about being long winded.

the NS listed next to the part numbers means i dont stock them. so i cant look at them. they are at a ford warehouse in new york.

the people pf this lovely local town say the police shot at him and that the police cruiser rammed teh stolen jeep casuing him to get ejected. they are blaming this local pd for his death.

the pa state police have to do an investigation. they called me and asked to come in today and perform a fatal crash vehicle inspection. i okay'd it and had them tow it over.

we saw no bullet holes and no signs of a police car ramming the back bumper.

good amount of blood.

below are my pics. one of it being dropped off the truck and another of the troopers checking it over

^^^Thats a damn shame. The thinking of people is so bassackwards.
Nobody is questioning the reason a 13yr old is behind the wheel at what crazy hour of the night/early morning? O' boys will be boys.
But apparently the cops should have ignored the fact it was a stolen car.
