Though that sounds encouraging it was a little hard to read little john! ;)

pretty much your saying it'll work, I just have to cut and reweld the feet at a different angle?

all you need is carbide cutoff saw, and a *good* mig or tig welders, some steel plates 5/16th of inch thick I think, match the size they send you. a torch, anvil, vice, forging hammer, and good metal working skills

it not super hard it just take some time, my friend made longer down tubes and mounts in his GTI. But I think once we where all said and done we figured it would have been better just have one custom made. I think we where about 1K in to it at that point.

Lil Jon the wheel wells in the sedan are a different shape, I just figured there would be some extra material that would need to be trimmed manly the area wear the back seat and the trunk come together. I haven’t really looked that closely at my sedan.

The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you? - It protects my head.

Do you have any special rituals when the helmet is concerned like many have? - I wipe it so that I can see better.

IIRC it comes down right on the wheel wells but the bottom pieces are the wrong shape so you cut it off and make your own bottom parts
