SVT Oil?

Hey - What kind of oil do you put in your SVT? The manual says Motorcraft Ultra Premium 5W30 GF-3 or something like that. Also, does anyone recommend a blend or 100% Synthetic? Thanks!

I use mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic in mine. You'll be fine with mostly any synthetic out there. It's all personal preference.

What about when racing in a track? Won't 5w40 of a known brand be better?

Either Mobil 1 5 w 30 with factory ford filter or Royal Purple 5 w 30 also with factory filter.

I have 183,XXX on my 02 SVTF and changed to Mobil 1 when the motor had 7,000 miles on it..never a problem...
