Horn Fuse keeps Blowing! Help!

OK, so I've replaced the horns, but the fuse keeps blowing. I can't figure out which relay is for the horns though. Anyone come across this, any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you checked your owner's manual?

If you do not have one, you can download one for free from http://www.fleet.ford.com

I know this is an old thread, but it doesn't seem like this is a common problem. Did you ever figure it out? My fuse blows instantly without using the horn. The horn doesn't sound. Must be a short somewhere, but I don't know where to start.

If you pull the horn relay, and the fuse doesn't blow, then the problem is in the horn circuit wiring between the relay and the horn(s), or the horn(s) themselves have shorted out.

I would start by pulling the horn relay. If you pull the horn relay and the fuse still blows, then the problem in the the fuse panel itself because the fuse feeds the relay. If the fuse doesn't blow, then disconnect the horns and put the relay back in. If the fuse doesn't blow after doing that, then one of the horns is shorted out. If the fuse does blow with the horns disconnected, then the short is in the wiring between the relay and the horns.
