custom exhuast question

so i went to a nearby exhaust shop to get a qoute on a custom setup,

they will do it for $65 for tube and install, (with 2.25 pipe) and then jsut add the price of what ever mufflear i go with, and then later (or then) if i want to add a resinator in the middle of the long bit, it will be $65 installed.

they suggest i get a supertrapp, i did some googling, and listening, i herd some that sounded killer and some like butt (they are adjustable so i think that is why)

so i guess i have a few questions.......

are those prices reasonable?

should i go with 2.25 pipe or 2.5, mind you, i only got a intake (short ram) and dont plan on doing else but a header. I am moastly concered about MPG, not with top end power!

with the svt header, should i just slap on the resinator from the start? i would like this to rather quite....

and lastly, what about the super trap? i like the idea of being able to tune the backpreusser and sound, or are they pretty shotty?

The price sounds reasonable. I would go with 2.5 inch piping. Especially to match up the SVT header down the road. As for the muffler, I don't have any experience with Supertrap. I would recommend staying with something like Magnaflow or Borla...tried and tested.

Oh, and definitely go for the resonator right away. Without the resonator and with an SVT header (assuming you go with a high flow cat or ORP), it will be loud and raspy. I know. Mine is.

It's probably a crush bent exhaust if a local shop is doing it...Can be restrictive at the bends, no where near as good as mandrel.
