Attn 2.3l Duratec / PZEV owners, Survey

OK guys & gals, I want to see what performance mods everyone has on their car. Simple lists, don't list suspension or wheels and tires, just the engine/trans mods. Link this thread to everyone you know with a 2.3l and lets get a good idea of who's got what. I'll collect lists from all websites, then I'll compile a list of who's got what. If you posted on one, don't follow up on another board with the same post.

As everyone knows I've got:

FC CAI
FC 65mm TB
FC UDP
FC 4-1 Race Header
FC Flex
Borla 2.5" exhaust

I see that you are in Worcester...well sometimes. Do you know any places in the Worcester area to have work done? Are you doing the intake and TB install yourself (or having a friend do it)? Just wondering because I'm not far from Worcester and I'll probably be looking to get some work done, though I can do basic things myself.

I'm planning on doing it myself, but HARR Ford on Gold Star Blvd. does some body kits and custom exhausts so you could try them? Whatever you do don't let Lucas in service talk to you, he's a moron.

Although a tranny cooler isn't necessary, it does help the life of the tranny in most cases. When the tranny shifts, up or down, is when it creates extra heat, if you drive your car harder than most, have performance mods (that you use, obviously), or like to participate in weekend races, a tranny cooler could save thousands in the long wrong. Most automatic equipped cars come with some type of cooler, usually it is built right into the radiator which is good for the normal Joe driver. Aftermarket units are much more efficient and are stand alone units to allow for greater cooling seperate of the other fluids (coolant, power steering, tranny fluid), you can decrease your tranny temp radically, which is good for any transmission. Heat destroys auto trannies, it is the number 1 cause of failure.

"The Cobalt firmly grabs you and whisks you along your way instantly. It does so with authority and poise, but while slipping relatively unnoticed through traffic, never being violent, or dare I say it, frightening. When you ask the SRT-4 to take you somewhere fast, it punches you in the face, throws you over its shoulder, and runs, screaming, so quickly that its tires can barely keep up."
