Cool FS Header, Steeda Flex & 2.25" Magnaflow. Shhh!

I have been pretty pleased with my current exhaust set-up, but this hasn't always been the case... At first, my FS header, Steeda flex and Magnaflow 2.25" flex-back was cool; but the novelty wore off pretty quickly. Cool turned to obnoxious so a change was in order. I've essentially put together a Magnaflow "Stealth" system.

After:

The car is still loud, but civil (nowhere near as obnoxious). I scored the 14" long by 6" round Magnaflow muffler off of eBay for $60 shipped and had it welded inplace for another $15.

^^I reved it twice cause I didn't feel like I reved enough the first time... I think I did actually get up to about 5k. I am still getting used to my flywheel too; perhaps I'll try it again & swap out "After" vids.

^I've had the Magnaflow since before FS made a kit... and the the "Stealth" option they offer is the very same thing I've made myself, for $50 more than what I've put in to it plus whatever they'd want for shipping.

The FocusSport exhaust with the stealth option is $370 as long as you don't go with the ceramic coated option too. the magnaflow is like $450, how did you end up saving money by doing it this way? im not bustin balls, i actually want to know so i can do the same.

I bought the stainless 2.25" Magnaflow flex-back on eBay years ago for about $125... bought the additional 2.25" Magnaflow muffler off of eBay a few months ago for $60 + $15 to have it welded into my current set-up.

So, $185 thru ebay for the parts, I supplied the labor (install, pipe cutting),and the $15 for the weld = $200/cheap in comparison.

I've purchased just about everything for my car on eBay or through the classifieds here or on fj. I like saving money...

Hey sounds good I need to add one of those to my car I hate having to sneak around when I see a cop. Sounds like it took the rasp out of it. I have a SVT header, orp, 2.25 flex, 2.25 magnaflow flex back.
