VIDEO - Redline Time Attack Part I
OK. Here is the first installment of several videos to come.
This is the first practice session on Saturday. It was chilly and the track was VERY slick. On the first session, I always tend to take things easy until I can figure out what kind mood the car is in and sort out any issues. There is great footage of the cars competing and the EXTREMELY talented foci drivers, John & Sean, that came out to play. p.s. Yes, those are my numbers that flew off of the hood. NO. I wasn't going that fast, they were just...worn out. Enjoy !!

Yes. Single lane. It is a bit of a "novelty" for this course. No room to pass and it mirrors the Nurburing with 17 degrees of banking. It's actually pretty treacherous as the surface change has a tendency to "spit" cars out of the groove.

The Summit Point Shenandoah Circuit is a lot like a giant AX.
2.2 Miles with 23 turns. That's almost unheard of for race tracks. So, appreciate the compliment, but EVERYONE was bussy in the car.

Too bad you didn't get me high siding the caroussell in session 1. Exhaust header is cracked. :(
I got down to 1:48.1 in session 2, then session 3 was slower with my car running out of battery juice. Next time it needs to tell before it decides to turn off the abs. Tom, you really need to get a lsd. I know they are a chunk of change but I bet you could make it back in reduced tire wear in 1-2 years. My inside front was spinning even with the torsen and a 18mm sway bar. |
