Shift Knobs

I am looking for a factory leather shift knob for a 2003 MTX. The 05 ST knobs are pricey. Not sure I want to try the ebay garbage. Any other models I can get a nice leather knobs from? THanks.

So maybe I was hasty to label all eBay stuff as garbage.... Any sellers with knobs you are happy with? Thanks.

I got a Sickspeed knob from ebay the other day. Quality is good. It's an engraved resin 2" ball. Easily worth the not quite $30 i paid.

What style are you going for exactly?

Leather wrapped , like the 05 ST, without the $65 price tag. Thread color doesn't matter.

You get what you pay for. I'm just gonna leave it at that.
If you want a nice leather shift knob that's actual leather and isn't going to fall apart on you after a few months, You're gonna have to pay for it. $65 for a shift knob isn't bad IMO.

Thats why I stuck w/ my stock st knob when I did a Steeda sts. I found the stock st shift knob the best for comfort & grip & its still in great shape= no coming apart. I've tried others out there yrs ago & this is the best.

Do you have a pic of your shifter setup? I have a Steeda STS on the way and am looking to replace my shift knob and boot with those from the ST (black leather w/ red stitching) and am just curious what it looks like beforehand (the Steeda's height compared to stock, along with the black knob and boot against the silver reverse lockout lever, etc).

Here is my ST knob, with Steeda sts but with an SVT leather boot:

I can get you a close up if needed, this instagram one was all I had on my phone atm.

Thanks for the upload. It's surprisingly shorter than I thought but that's not a bad thing, and it does look good.

Also, this is off-topic to this thread but I see you have an SVT steering wheel as well. Did yours come with an airbag or just the wheel? I'm wanting to swap my wheel to an SVT wheel but my wheel and airbag or more of a gray where the SVT wheel and bag are black, so I'm looking for the wheel/bag combo so they're a match. Is there any issue with swapping airbags as well or will they all work as a direct swap from all MK1 years?
