josejsanchez, do a search about the alternator wiring harness and ignition coil wiring harness. The battery light problem is usually associated with them.
I get the common idle drop off problem but what I have frequently happening is the battery light and my damn fans come on three minutes after a cold start-up and continues as long as I have the car on.

There is a relay pack or something on the fan housing that is known to cause problems. I've never replaced it myself but I'm sure a search will bring up a few threads about it.

I had another thought the other day when my car stalled again... could there be an issue with clutch disengagement?

I've had this happen a few times but not often. The first time the culprit was a faulty wiring harness. The second time it happened, which was recent, was a failed coil and wiring.
The battery light would appear just before the slowdown, then return to normal.

It also does this whenever you reset the ECU. You have to drive the car for about an hour in varied speeds so the ECU can relearn itself, then all is well. Make sure you have some highway/fast driving or it'll bog again and you have to redo the entire process.

Interesting. This has happened to me also once in awhile since i've had my SVT. Not that I mind it all that much, it happens very sporadically, but it would be nice to know what the cause is.

Since getting my wideband in, Ive seen the car almost die a couple times. Ive noticed that when it happens while idling, it goes VERY lean, upwards of 17 or 18:1 on the AF. On deceleration it can do this and cut fuel, but when it doesnt pick back up when you push the clutch in, the car stumbles out and dies.

Ive had mine gaped to the factory specs but now I have new ones and they are gapped at .06 and it still stalls....<-- although gapping them further probably makes it worse.

Finally someone confirms a fuel delivery issue. Now to figure out why.
