Well mine now has 89k on it

Still runs beautifully and I haven't noticed any power loss. I Have about 25k on my new clutch and still grabs 2nd very good/hard. I've been putting RP in there for the last 60k miles and changed to RP tranny fluid when I changed out my clutch.

Only problems I have is the master cylinder(I can't believe I haven't changed it yet!) and other "cosmetic" issues .

Well, 118k before the motor blew up Tuesday morning. Stock clutch and engine. Ran like new until Tuesday morning when it sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders. Not good.

High mileage SVT

I just paid a 10 cents a mile for an 03 silver focus SVT with 76k for my daughter's first car. How optimistic (aka foolish?) am I? I am having a blast driving it until she gets her license. Mine seems to have a replacement timing belt and my clutch and tranny seem fine. Cooling fans are not working though. A potential $600 oh no.

That was my first look. No such luck. There is a thread from others who battled this. I pulled the resistor and it seems fine. I want to temp wire the fans and see if I can get them to run.
It was hard to negotiate the price with my daughter gushing over the car the whole while......... my biggest mistake shopping but then we were there to see a different car
