New best 1/4 mile time

Went to the track last night. (Thunder Valley)

60' - 2.295

1/8 - 9.875
MPH - 70.97

1/4 - 15.261
MPH - 91.32

That was my first run.

Spun my tires quite a bit on that run too.

BTW: That was without Tom's tune.

Impressive, do you have any mods? I'm pretty sure that Tom's tune (91 octane version I guess) almost doesn't have any impact on drag times, the torque gains being in the low to mid range. Are you on the stock clutch, and what tires ? How were you launching?

I see that you have a RT cat, can't wait to get a CFM HFC when it will be available again! 14s are not too far from your time, it may be possible :)

I spun quite a bit.

Held the RPMs at about 3K and then feathered it out. Once I let the clutch out all the way, I spun still. Then when I shifted to second, I spun for a good 1/2 second, no joke. With stickier tires I see high 14's easy.

Right now I'm running BFG g-Force Sports but they look more like homemade slicks. I think I'm down to the hard rubber.

We'll need to get a track day together once I get my clutch in (weather cooperating of course!). Nice times!

Tires make such a difference it's not even funny. My car is getting slower and slower the more I drive and beat the shit out of these tires.

Congrats on the time, your car responded well to the cooler temps we had friday evening. I agree with netdrgoon about the track day now that the weather is getting more favorable.
