Drove the Saturn redline

Just drove the redline lastnight. Nice torquey engine for a 2.0, a little soft, but it was a big pulley on that blower ( = low boost)...The car flexed a bit when pushed hard, but it is really just a bottom as all the rest is plastic bolted on and a bonded roof, but a fun little car, nice 17 inch wheels , 4 wheel discs and a good "tuner", or is that " tooner" look! Still a Saturn, but not bad.

You guys wouldn't believe how much abuse those body panels can take. The downside to the panels is they expand and contract so the panels can't be too close to eachother. The Saturns have big gaps between the panels. It works for me though, form over function.
I want to see the Redline and the SRT go head to head in a comparo. I think the Saturn and Dodge are a whole different breed than the Mazdaspeed, SVT, and Spec. Just my opinion.

For the senior graduation they had a 91 Saturn (Rear ended big time/totaled) and an old buick centry for the Senior Crush contest. I shatered the "Dent resistand side panel" *drivers door* with the sledge hammer. I didnt think they were all that great after seeing it shatter. (I also got the bumper off the Buick, got to haul it around in school all day, what fun hhehehe)

Ohh yeah it was only 37 degrees out
