thats just terrible, i loved the guy he was my favourite driver. i was just talking about him with some friends a few days ago.

Its ironic a bit though, isnt it? Spending so much time behind the wheel of a car, flying at ludicrous speeds on back roads (to some might be considered "wreckless driving" because there is speed involved [gasp]). Yet due to some minor error, i bet, not something major, a helicopter ride turns out to be his last. (i believe statistically they consider flight to be the safest way to travel... i think).

Such a shame.... RIP C.McRae
In his memory i will now play a few hours of Colin McRae Rally 2005
