ok...it doesnt f up ur reading at all, it's a light. and second, it a light thats not ever brighter than ur dash lights so how is it illegal? but other than dat, it's all good. ima post a how 2 on the remove that "black clip" i was talkin about.

ok so i'm ready to go all out and do it all
the tach.
the gauges
and im putting some in my vents...
im going to be ordering from oznium.com
can i use 5mm leds? what sizes and how many will i need to do everything in the gauges including turn signal indicators? check eneinge? gas light....
is it possible to replace those with blue as well?

you cannot change the turn signals, cel, gas light, etc... anything in the cluster.

you NEED 3mm in the lock switches and window switches.

you NEED a 194-style wedge to do the cluster backlight.

well i did the best i could with the pics, like i said the camera is a piece of crap. and cuz its a european knock off (which i think) its only good 4 a webcam ;), lol.

i'd keep those lights in their original color. just my opinion though

Ok hold on. Can some one explain what the electrical tape trick is? I dont think ive read about it yet but i read this whole 'how to' and think it sounds like it could be my first official mod. I wanted to do the blue light to match my new stereo so i think thats the way im gonna do it.

well dont do the electrical tape trick cuz all it is, is just colored tape over the lcd backing. u wont get the desired colored u hoped to get, so just go with my technique. it gives u the right color u hoped and wanted.
