Read the whole thread... sounds like a nice little upgrade. Right now my bright, blue Pioneer LCD looks strange with all the green around. Although I haven't read about someone changing all the leds (dash, doors...etc).

Hey. I was thinking with illinipo's mod. He scraped off the green filter on the back and put in blue LED's to make this gauges blue. Well when you do this, the blue light passes through the red filter of the km/h and in turn the km/h doesn't really show through.

I was thinking if I were to scratch off the green filter on the numbers, leave the red filter on the km/h. Then instead of changing bulbs, put a blue filter on the mph to to make it turn blue. This way, I will still have km/h and I won't have to operate on my gauge.

illinipo showed me this on ebay, do you guys thing that it will work?

Can anyone think of any tape or filter that would do the job?
