Wait. So this method that you used to change the LCD screen. Is it possible to use this same method on the main gauge? Lets say I have the stock gauge, no tach. If I take it apart can I use the same bulbs to replace them, and sand off the green film? I love the look of your gauges. I heard that you can just buy new gauges and it will be that color but it is like $50 for a new gauge. Honestly, I can't justify $50 on the color blue when I can put it towards my savings for a sound system. I don't mind spending for the LEDs though...

I'm half way in the process and realize.. I don't have a bulb behind the LCD. I have 3 of the little tiny lights that light up each indicator light. If I continue I'd just be making it white, not blue.

Weird

No they are not bulbs. They are little white bases with a dot on them, just like the LEDs for the indicator lights.

Behind the LCD screen, I do not have a bulb.

It's only 3 little LED things that look like this:

[.][.][.]

instead of (BULB).

If you take apart your cluster again, look where the indicator lights are (ABS, seat belt, CEL, etc.) Those little white things are the same thing behind my LCD screen.

I only have 3 bulbs behind my cluster in general, they are behind the temp gauge, spedometer, and fuel gauge.
