NeweracapMAN, sounds like you want a new cluster. Mine has both sep. eBay has plenty of those, well of the one you have.. Unfortunately the milage reading will be different than your own. I've been looking for myself (my replaced cluster has a reading of over 80K miles when my act. should read just over 30K..) I think you can send yours to Ford and they'll send you a new one with the actual miles, but it's gonna cost ya. Also, I think they'll only replace with same kind of cluster...

Is this the same way to do the led swap for the cluster on 03 SVT?

I got mine from eBay for $30-something... like so. That's the cheaper version but it's better if it comes with the dimmer for better effect...

I need a little help. I want to do this mod to make my gauges glow the same deep blue color my new radio head unit does. I see that it is #194 LEDs for the gauges and #74 LED for the odometer. When I look at Superbrightleds.com, there are many variations of each size.

#74 - http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/74.html
#194 - http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/bulb_specs.htm

What style is typically recommended? Is there a better "brand" than Superbrightleds?

keep in mind when you change the lights it will (more than likely) not change the color of the needle, unless you change/scrape paint off behind the needles and make it clear for the blue. If you want red you can simply cover the holes where the bulbs stick out with red tail light tape w/o touching the needles, works awesome...same with the odometer, red looks good there as does yellow (electrical tape).
the bulbs in the cluster are #194. The bulb behind the digital odometer is a #74. According to another ff'er, don't use a 'wedge' tip led. You'll get this weird circle lighting-type effect. Get a regular round tip. (don't know what the heck that meant, I haven't tried it yet..lol). I think he might have meant these from vleds. While you're there, you might as well sand the green film off the filter. Here the how-to explaining a little more in depth: How To

I would go with anything with good light distribution. I'm not familiar with specs, I just look at'em and go..yeah, that looks good...lol I normally use Oznium and superbrightleds unless neither has what I'm looking for. Vleds has been mentioned a bit too, so I assume they're good as well.

What do you all think? I went blue on the instrument cluster and odometer to match the radio. I still have to do the HVAC controls. This was just the stock gauge faceplate. I scraped off all the green color behind the numbers and letters.
