There should be a thread that shows/tells what works and what doesn't based on the year of the car. I know with mine it's been a pain in the ass the entire way and I've had to trial and error it most of the way.

By the way, the blue transparent plastic trick doesn't work on this lcd mod unless you use a white led back there. The stock bulb isn't bright enough to shine through the blue plastic and the white filter together. At this point you might as well put in a blue led and save the trouble of getting the blue transparent plastic. Also, DO NOT use an intverted led. Use a round tip like the one at the beginning of this thread. The wedge type doesn't shine straight up as well.

i tried with my 05 but in mine it has leds actually sodered to the circuit board. I cant see any way of getting to them without breakin the screen.

I'm guessing no one figured out how to do this on an 05-07 yet? I wonder if an electric shop of some sort would be able to replace the LEDs since they would have the proper tools, anyone got any ideas?

^^^ yeh with an 05+ its an led circuit board with it so it can be done but you must kno how to soulder and also know what type of leds you'll need. like i said it can be done....

really?! one bulb lights up the entire dashboard? thats crazy. I thought ide be replacing at least 20 bulbs so ive been delaying on this...
but now that i no its only one...im starting soon.

Ok so seriously..nvm...its not one buld..im lookinmg to replace all my gauge lights and gas gauge light and the odometer. so i take it this is ONLY for the odometer, the rest will still be the stock color...so can someone tellm e what ineed for all the gauges? Number of LEDS and quantities please.
