To clarify for some of you.
The reaction time does not matter in your ET. It dosent play into your ending time at all. You can run a 15.4 with a 5.0 RT and a 15.4 with a perfect light.
Your 60ft time is the key. If your shifting is fairly consistent, the 60ft time will adjust your time. Do remember a good 60ft can mean lower trap speeds.

This is how the beams work.
There is two staging beams. Then a third beam immediately in front of the last staging beam. That third beam starts your time ET. The time it take to get from the staging beams to the third beam is your reaction time. This being said, your et clock does not start intil after the third beam is broken. The Reaction time starts as the third amber light lights up. So, your reaction time happens before your ET even starts. It makes a big difference on winning and loosing, but no difference on running fast times.

the 1/8th isent meant to be a 2 car race.....its a time trial...some people dont even pay attention or care if they loose....its all abou the time....the reaction time dosent reflect your end time..

There are only 2 beams at the starting line. The Reaction time starts when the green light lights up and stops once your tires clear the stage(2nd) beam. Once the stage(2nd) beam is broken the clock starts and runs until you pass the last set of beams at the end of the track.

My pesonal best is listed in my signature. This was run with the car completely stock.

It's interesting how Dirtbrown ran a faster 1/8th than me, with slower 60' time. I'm not calling BS, but it shows how many variables are involved.
