FC 70mm TB on a SVT

Before my incident with my focus, I managed to get ahold of a Focus-Central 70mm TB that normally goes on a non-svt zetec engine.

I've search FJ and here for anybody doing some sort of mod to get this TB to work on a SVT and I didn't come up with anything but 1 thread where a guy was selling his SVT Focus with the exact same TB back in 2004.

I understand there are some clearance issues, and was wondering if a spacer or a porting job on the intake itself is needed for this.

I have a 67mm TB and I love it. Grant you it is 3mm smaller than the one that you are looking at but it works great. If it doesn't work buy the 67mm from C-F-M, you wont be dissapointed.

I have the 65mm already. I really couldn't tell you the difference between the stock one since I have a completely modded engine block. I'd love to see this thing on on my intake to see what gains I will get. I know not much, but if I have it, let's put it to use.

Tom, next week Im headed back up there to renew the rental car policy. I'll stop by Saturday and drop it off, or if you like, I'll just mail it.
