nice ass!

so i just got my massive speed systems strut tower brace in and OMG whoever said that they do nothing on a focus a damned liar...my car is soo much more fun now! understeer=zero, wayy quicker turn-in, and no floating of the front end...

had to jack up the one side to make it fit, combonation of one wreck and 52xxx miles on it i'd imagine have stressed the body a little...

just washed the car, did a quick detail job, it was horrible. anyways, discovered that hail storm i ended up in a week back did a lil more than i thought. there's a nice large knick in the paint on the hood, that looks as if there's a lil ding in it. plus a few other small knicks. and a few marks that were already there.

anyone else think i should just say screw it and got a cf hood later this year?

im not typically a huge fan...but think it'll go well with all the black on the front end after the headlights and grille plus the black i've got painted on the lower grille.

yeah, i'll probably give the headlights a try this summer. and my uncle will criticize me and laugh and ask wtf i'm doing, lol. but definately thinkin bout the cf hood now after i discovered that ding and huge chip in the paint. but hey, one real battle wound from encountering hail on the interstate, think i got off pretty easy.

I'd say so. We've had 2 hail damage cars (02 Cadi DTS and a 07 Civic). Had to replace the hood, trunk and roof on both cars and pull all the dents out of the fenders, doors and quarter panels. In other words, they both have brand new paint jobs thanks to hail.

ouch. this was like 2 1/2 weeks back when that bad storm rolled through here. i had to head to huntsville for the weekend, mom called warning me bout it, i saw the weather on the tv and decided to get outa b'ham asap to try and race it instead of waiting half the afternoon for it to pass. i was bout 20 minutes south of 565 to h'ville when i got caught in it. interstate came to a standstill, i ended up parked in the median for a minute or so. visibility was about nonexistant for a few. it was nuts. i saw golf balls just bouncing off the car as it started. found a number of knicks in the windshield, but other than that and the one spot on the hood i got away free, lol

oh well, i'll go with a cf oem hood end of summer, early fall, when i get my rotc book money for the year, lmao. anyone know a good place to pick up one for the 05+?

as for the headlights, i'll probably try to do that myself. might as well save the money. and if it doesn't work out, well i was gonna buy new ones anyways, lol. i won't need the car really during the summer so i can go a few days without lights.
