^^I only liked High Stakes and Porsche Unleashed. Both of those were pretty close to simulations.

Hi def video that will show you naysayers:
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gc-09-need-for/54359

I generally enjoy NFS but I haven't played any after most wanted. However even if the physics in this one are grossly inaccurate it's just so beautiful and thrilly looking. Full cockpits are the titz and the sense of speed from those motion blurs is amazing.

car shut down merging onto the freeway just a few minutes back. just after running through a car wash. got up to speed and bam, sputters once, let off the gas, roll back on it, rpm's start rolling back up for a second before it completely shuts itself down. still had all electrical stuff. coasted off the interstate, rounded the corner with no power steering (hehe), couldn't get into a parking lot as traffic was stopped at the light, so i had to come to a full stop. turned off the ignition. crossed my fingers. turned it back on, fired back up as if nothing happened and on i continued a few blocks more to my apartment.

maybe it just sucked up a little water in the carwash? idk, scared the shit out of me. don't need this to be a regular issue. posted this on the duratec forum, probably will get moved to tech, wasn't paying attention lol but any thoughts?

With Zetecs water will get down around the spark plugs and screw stuff up. I haven't heard of that issue on Dtecs and although they have different heads and ignition setups it seems possible.

Fuel pump, or you sucked up water. Not too sure though.

someone left a dildo in your intake, and it spooged on your cyl heads and killed your spark. Since there was no lube in your fuel the soldiers burned off while you coasted around. So you were able fire it up again after the mass-murder in your engine.

I think it was some of my bad luck finally kicking in after getting on your car from last gump meet.

Or could be what Joel said. Check for code P01201 to make sure.
