Speaking of which... Evan, it's still having a little trouble going in... to 5th. But I think it's some loose shifter junk causing it. Loose lock/ball assembly or some crap? I'm going to look at it soon. There's full Toyota tech manuals uploaded to the net, helps a ton. http://www.mr2-tech.com/bgb/mechanic...mechanical.htm ^Where are those for the Focus? We need them here to make my life a little easier.

So, right now it's snowing... got about 3 inches on the ground since 9 this morning... I went to see how the car would handle with the NeoGens on...
"well goober, how'd that work out for ya?" NOT TOO GOOD! Srsly... I can drive about 20 mph before the car becomes not safe... and if I want to stop... No. I tap the brake and the rear tires lock up. Try to stop for realz... all four lock up and I start to slide sideways. I'm staying home till winter is over. kthxbai |

yeah never had a problem with all the snow i get here in florida!
and dan, i have that book for the 05-07 and jeremy has the book for the early models...but damn that would take forever to upload, its something like 800+ pages, its bigger than the bible.

I liked my nitto gens when I had them on in the winter a few years back? I thought they were good? Dunno how much snow you got though.
hey hey all...if you can't shift into fifth it's prolly the shifter cables. He just needs new ones or they need to be readjusted. That's about it.

Lets put it this way. I can be going 20mph. give it 1/4 throttle in 4th and they will spin up to 50. If i tap the brakes... the car slides sideways... its solid ice under the snow too. Hills.... I don't even try.
