^^ According to the article it's targeted for launch in all global markets in early 2012. I'm going to wait though, because I've read other sources that say a SVT/RS replacement may come like a year later with over 300hp. I also want a 3-dr. I can't get in/out the tiny front doors in a 5-dr.

Poor u and ur shelby lol

So heres a dumb question. What maintenance is really needed between 60 and 100k? Ive got about 85k and yetto do anything other than usual service, oil change, fuel filter, etc. I know the manual lists a tranny flush already, but that seems overkill.

Id actually rather have the Fiesta in a st form... There has been a few spy photos of one. It will be cheaper. The Focus will be in the STI EVO range if they bump up the power to 300.

That much HP/TQ is gonna create a LOT of problems in a FWD. I'd hope they'd do a AWD conversion or something to really use that power.

The Euro RS uses that much power and its FWD. The ST just needs that crazy transmission the RS uses and gets praised for to work.

TQ Steer City is all i'm sayin....After driving a Turbo'd US Version ST with 50 less hp for a couple days, i can tell you that it's nearly unmanageable. I was burning rubber w/o trying. Then if i was really trying to get on it 1st and 2nd is worth nothing. Even with an LSD it TQ Steered like a bitch. AWD will better handle the power.

Thats why I say it needed that transmission, its almost NO Tq steer from what I hear from all the reviews (including Top gear) about it.

It might push the price way up there though.

I have as much if not more power going to my wheels then the US ST... I am running open diff and do not have a problem with TQ steer.
