did the first oil change on the new motor today. also turned the boost up a little bit. running like 13-14psi. cant push it much more than that since i'm running the stock ecu tuning. and the fuel tables are all waaaaay off. she isn't making anywhere the power she was before, but still pulled like a mofo when i got on it.

haha, like i told jeremy. if i blow the motor again, i'm aiming the car at a tree and not slowing down...

i have a feeling the tranny will be the next thing to go...and i mean tranny, not clutch... haha

nope... i replaced the alternator belt and that didnt do it. played with the tension on that belt and that didnt do it.... the sound is coming from the crank damper pulley side of the belt, so i'm thinking about swapping out the crank pulley for the one from the other motor and see if it makes a difference.
