A little water is always good for some excitement on an AX course.

I remember we had one where there was so much water on the course that it was throwing water INSIDE the car on cornering.

We broke the rules and rolled up the windows after that.

i cracked the windows just enough to prevent it from fogging up and still found the back seats soaked. It was coming down hard, and i only managed to partially-spin 3 of my 4 runs all in different locations. I guess I should respect the rain more as I scared the few people who would ride along, as they never experienced drifting in a focus before.

lol i drifed mine at my first ax. it was dry out and i hit the sandy part of the lot. (it was really dusty in that corner and everyone was having issues there). too bad i don't have pics but the stock as hell zx3 suspension has earned my respect. all i think it really needs are some stiffer shocks and sways.

driving in the rain is the best way to learn how to control your car

have you roadraced a bike in a downpour? your nuts if you have. At least when i Ax in the rain I know I have falkens on that wont hydroplane until i hit like 70mph. Amazingly enough I was only 2secs slower than my morning runs (dry runs).

Haven't run a bike in the rain, but I have seen it done.

Those guys CLANK when they walk because of the big brass dangly things...

I have run road courses in the rain in a car and it is a very erie, quiet sort of serenity that goes along with it.

The only way I know how to describe it is being "hyper aware"..
