Hey guys I was just told by my local performance shop that getting the eibach kit with dampers would be a waste of money because the shocks are hardly better than stock and if have to replace them anyways. He's being helpful because he could've had a sale right there but I guess he was being nice and helpful rather than profitable, at that time. He then recommended that I get the Koni yellow's ( lifetime warranty) because they are pretty sickening and just get the eibach or whatever springs I want. Now Koni yellow's are facking expensive and was quoted at 1500$ flat for koni yellow shocks, Eibach springs plus the install. Any body else out there got Koni yellow's. Any help on a good price range for what this should be would help

Whoa! If you're dead set on Eibachs then you won't be able to use this info but I got my Konis installed for like $800. They make a kit complete with lowering springs (they say 1.6" but I'm not sure if mine dropped that much). I can't say much about the Eibachs as I've never actually been in a car with those, but I hear a lot of positive things about it.
![]() But anyway the plus side for the Koni yellows is they work GREAT and now I'm catching up to a bunch of guys at the local auto-x. At low settings the ride quality is not much harsher than stock, but when cranked up, you will wonder where all the body roll went. Also you may lose a few fillings and your back will start hurting. Seems like I got my kit on ebay for $650 shipped, and yes it is legit. Just hunt around for it. I know newedge used to sell them but when I called them up for it they were out of stock at the time. Wouldn't hurt to try them now, it's been a long time since that call. Good luck on the hunt.

Thanks so far.
So will Koni sport yellows fit with sportlines and pro's style springs?

As far as I know the shocks and springs are separate and will fit pretty much any combo. So they should work with sportlines and pros. I would think that as long as the springs aren't hyper low that you're fine. They are OE replacements and will work with stock springs also.

Eibach Pro dampers are not rebound adjustable and the Koni Yellows are...

koni sport kit=koni yellow single adjustable shocks and struts
And koni springs 1.5/1.6 in drop from tony at newedgeperformance.com 700$ or get eibach springs seen 165$ before and find some kyb agx adjustables. its soooooooooooooo nice being able to tune your ride as conditions require. plus if you like to race you can make ur car real stiff with almost no bodyroll or when you r going to pick up ur girl u can give her a nice comfortable ride haha. koni super easy adjustment at top of strut tower. kyb on strut body behind wheel.i think. eibach struts not adjustable but tuned with springs. let us know what you decide to go with. And take before and after photos.lol

Having had the Eibach Pro system for three years now I can assure it offers significant improvements and are way better than stock shocks. They handle the increased spring rates of the eibach springs perfectly and have not, by any imagination, been a waste of money. Unless your going to seriously autocross or track your car the Koni's could be considered overkill for the street.

Well I thought I'd let you guys know I purchased the KONI Yellow shocks and the Eibach pro springs...came to 900$ from TireRack. 200$ installation and I'm lookin at 1100$ total for what will hopefully be a pretty sick suspension to start with. Sway bars come next I guess for suspension?
